Nwasha Edu is committed to improving the quality of relationships for Black women and families. For over 17 years she has worked as a community activist, counselor, teacher and guide, to encourage the restoration and maintenance of balanced, harmonious and healthy relationships. It was through full immersion in new cultures, extensive research and initiation into classical cultural healing paradigms that Nwasha understood the importance of a culturally-relevant perspective in intimate relationships and developed her philosophy on the art and science of love.
Nwasha is the co-founder of Akoma House Initiative, a culturally-based counseling and consulting firm where she uses her skills in Indigenous African Technologies, counseling and strategic intervention to encourage the elevation of all relationships. Nwasha is also the co-creator of Akoma Day, the cultural alternative to Valentine's Day, and the co-author of Akoma Day - Guidebook into the Sacred Science of Soul Mating, You Are What You Cheat: A Guidebook into Understanding and Overcoming Infidelity and 20 Beautiful Women: African Edition: 20 More Stories That Will Heal Your Soul, Ignite Your Passion and Inspire Your Divine Purpose.
Nwasha’s most treasured role is as a wife to her soulmate, Montsho, and as a mother to her beautiful children.
