The Akoma SOUL experience draws from the ancient wisdom of Akoma - an adinkra symbol commonly called the heart. The Akoma represents the intelligence of the heart, the sacred bond between soulmates, and the transformative power of love when practiced consciously. At its core, the Akoma teaches that how you relate to yourself shapes every relationship you touch.

This journey invites you to slow down and build a strong, compassionate, and honest relationship with yourself- your emotions, your needs, your boundaries, and your desires. From that grounded place, your intimate relationships naturally become clearer, safer, and more fulfilling.

Akoma SOUL is not about fixing yourself or your partner. It’s about developing the skills, awareness, and heart-centered practices that allow love to flow with greater ease and integrity.

How the Program Works

Akoma SOUL is offered through rolling admission, allowing you to begin your journey as soon as you enroll and move through the teachings at your own pace.

In addition to the self-paced course, we host live implementation calls where you can ask questions, receive guidance, and deepen your practice of the heartwork in real time. These calls are open to both singles and couples. Dates and times are shared through monthly and weekly email updates, so you’ll always know when to join us live.

This blend of personal study and ongoing community support ensures that no matter where you are in your love journey, you are supported every step of the way.

Our style is a fusion of strategic intervention mixed with Indigenous African Spirit Technology. That means we interrupt limiting thought, speech and action in a dramatic way, and then we use cultural ritual to empower you toward your ideal vision.

Our work is based on the three pillars of Akoma House Initiative service:

Pschological Reparation: the individual and collective healing of emotional, mental and physical traumas

Relationship Education: the study and practice of the art (why love is essential) and science (how love is empowering) of Black Love Culture to produce healthy, happy and harmonious relationship dynamics

Cultural Initiation: an intense group experience that thouroughly prepares you to be successful in your role as an intimate partner within community
